Judge Strikes Down Part of the Patriot Act as Unconstitutional…
NEW YORK (Reuters) - A provision of the Patriot Act that requires people who are formally contacted by the FBI for information to keep it a secret is unconstitutional, a federal judge ruled on Thursday.
U.S. District Judge Victor Marrero sided with the American Civil Liberties Union, which brought the lawsuit and argued that an FBI letter requesting information — called a National Security Letter — is effectively a gag order but without the authorization of a judge.
In a written ruling issued on Thursday, Marrero said the gag order violated the First Amendment guarantee of free speech and was unconstitutional. — read full article

Bush has even said “It would be much easier to run this country if it were a dictatorship” who would know a C average college student would be able to pull it off.
But there are those who actually give a dam about the sacrafices people made be it small or up to their own death to create, defend and maintain our constitutional rights. Now George W. Asshole wants to wipe his ass on what the founding fathers and other heros/ patriots fought to achieve.
Let see here bush has done:
Declared war against a soverign nation without consent from congress. Just to “Protect the HOMELAND” < sound familiar (Fatherland - Nazi Germany)
Done away with Habeas Corpus which is the cornerstone of our freedoms and it predates the constitution!
Continues to pork barrel our economy into the shitter while only approving a “budget” that will “balance” out in 2012… Tell me lies tell me sweet little lies…..
Has been working on gettting his patriot act and Martial Law Act of 2007 in the books so he can take the rains and tell congress and every one else to fuck off.
Bush obviously does not give a shit about this country but to do so for his own gains. He needs to be impeached and looked into for war crimes against humanity. Possibly some others from his administration should be looked at.
Wake up america this is not a lie america to fachism 101 with bush being the C averaged asshole pissing off and on every one in the world. We are supposed to be The Republic of the United States! Not the Dictatorship of the united states.
