My name is Catherine Morgan, I'm a writer, nurse, mother, and founder of "The Political Voices of Women". This is a blog dedicated to inform and educate the voting public through articles, ideas, and links. It's also a way of giving myself a voice, rather than just sitting back and watching politics and my opinion go by.
--- I am now also at the Care2 Election Blog.
Hi everyone…I’m trying something new tonight. Below is the list of Bloggers that will be Live Blogging at tonights Democratic Debate. The debate will begin at 9PM EST - you will be able to click on the link provided and see the blogging of all these bloggers in one place. This will be a first for me…you will have to let me know if you like it.
I think it will be fun to watch the debate and also see what the bloggers are talking about at the same time. Let’s face it…Debates this early can be a bit boring (but you didn’t hear that from me), this will kind of shake it up a bit - provide the excitement the debate may otherwise be lacking.
NEW YORK - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg left the Republican Party on Tuesday and switched to unaffiliated, a move certain to be seen as a prelude to an independent presidential bid that would upend the 2008 race.
The billionaire former CEO, who was a lifelong Democrat before he switched to the Republican Party in 2001 for his first mayoral run, said the change in his voter registration does not mean he is running for president.
TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey has approved the first funding to build a state stem cell research facility touted by Gov. Jon S. Corzine as key to combating federal restrictions on embryonic stem cell work.
In a report released Saturday, London-based Privacy International assigned Google its lowest possible grade. The category is reserved for companies with “comprehensive consumer surveillance and entrenched hostility to privacy.”
None of the 22 other surveyed companies — a group that included Yahoo Inc., Microsoft Corp. and AOL — sunk to that level, according to Privacy International.
Bloggers are changing the face of politics and the debates. Tonights GOP Debate is no exception. Let’s see what the Bloggers are saying - The Left, The Right, and the LIVE.
I’ll be honest with you…I don’t know how I feel about all this. But in case you are interested, here is some stuff being talked about this week. Feel free to leave a comment with how you feel about this controversial Immigration Bill.
