I’m Really Upset That I Missed The Presidential Debate Tonight…Well, not really. With YouTube Recap Montage.

Just in case you missed the Debate last weeks….her is a little “recap montage”.

——————————————–

A post from Kim Ponders at BlogHer, really makes me wish I didn’t miss the debate. Well, maybe that’s going too far…but this is a good post…see sample below.

And they’re off…

-

In lack of any substantial message to debate, I thought I’d give a general run-down of my view of the evening:

-

Most hilarious: Mike Gravel

-

Bushiest eyebrows: Chris Dodd/Joe Biden (tie)

You can read Kim’s interesting and humorous take on the debate at BlogHer, for all the action that you might have missed if you didn’t see the presidential debate tonight.

The debate is even more of a snooze fest the day after….

I tried to get on to the blogher site but it seemed to have trouble loading for me. I think the link is fine but just a slow server this afternoon. I’ll be sure to try again soon.

  2. “D-day” – I think I’m ready to move on from the debate…it is a snooze the day after for sure.

Catherine, I didn’t see the debate and my tv mostly collects dust so I haven’t seen a recap of the debate, and i very much appreciate these great videos.
Tell me again why we aren’t all screaming KUCINICH!

  4. “Mirth” — I’m glad I could accommodate. Hope you’re having a great weekend.

I thought the guy to the left of Kucinich had the best night. It’s ridiculous for these things to be taking place so early on anyway, so the more of someone like that I get to hear, the happier I am. I’m embarrassed to say that I don’t remember his name off hand, but I know he’s a Democrat from Alaska.

The dynamic where a party’s candidates all form a circle and start shooting didn’t get too out of hand from what I’ve read and viewed on the debate, so that’s a good thing.

Thanks for embedding the video here!

  6. “Deadisue” — Thanks for the comment. You will have to keep me posted about your feelings about “unknown democrat to the left of Kucinich, from Alaska”.

Several days later and it hasn’t gotten any more interesting. Perhaps the Republican debate with be more fun to watch. I have a feeling they won’t be as nice to each other. I’ll enjoy seeing them tear into each other. Disturbing I know. ;-)

Here’s one person’s opinion about the ‘unknown’ Senator Mike Gravel from Alaska:
