BLOGGERS CHANGING THE FACE OF POLITICS — by Catherine Morgan
Finally, the voting public has somewhere else to turn to get the facts, and voice their opinions on politics. Now, we can all make a difference. Politicians will not be able to ignore the voices coming from the “cyber” community. As more and more people become frustrated with the “mainstream” media, and more and more of us have access to computers, the face of politics is going to see major changes. Just putting smear ads on television, as an attempt to manipulate the vote, is not going to be effective any more.
WE THE PEOPLE, are going to have more power, and more to say, and politicians are going to be held to their promises, or be OUT.
I just want to say thank you, to MSNBC, for their report on GATHER.COM. I for one, feel that maybe this will be a step in the right direction, in putting the people back into politics. I hope the readers of this post will check out the GATHER.COM site, and report back to me on what they think about it.
I look forward to hearing from everyone, as I am not able to really check this site out at the moment, because I am working on something else right now. Thanks for your help.
